Case study: two shared entrances, more than 25,000 openings in two years
A Mérida community that shares two entrances among several users: over 25,500 openings logged since October 2024 and about a thousand a month.
Not every entrance belongs to one family. In condominiums, car parks and common areas, many people use the same door and each needs their own permission. This case, with real figures from our platform, shows how shared access works.
The challenge
The community has two entrances that are used heavily throughout the day. With remotes it was impossible to know who came in and when, and every change of tenant or staff meant collecting or reprogramming remotes.
The solution
- A Remotify device at each entrance, on top of the existing installation.
- Per-user permissions: everyone opens only the entrances they are entitled to.
- An opening log for the management, with user, entrance and time.
By the numbers
- More than 25,500 openings since October 2024.
- Around 1,000 openings in the last 30 days.
- Two entrances managed from a single panel.
For shared access, granting and removing permissions instantly is what matters most: when someone is no longer entitled to enter, their access stops working that same day, with nothing to collect. Figures as of October 2026.
